Health & Safety Precautions

First Jury continues to serve clients while following state, local, and CDC guidelines concerning public gatherings during COVID-19.

Despite the pandemic, your case is still moving toward trial. First Jury is ready to design a mock trial or focus group that gets you the data you need to get to the heart of your case. While mock trials look a little different than they did in the past, we have been able to gather mock jurors in accordance with all federal, state, and local safety guidelines and get our clients the results they need.  As safety is of the utmost importance, we have implemented the following protocols:

  • Socially distanced seating for mock presentation and deliberations
  • Enforced social distancing and mask-wearing for participants during breaks
  • Face shields for seated jurors so reactions can be viewed
  • Face shields for participating lawyers
  • Screening for vaccinated only participants, if desired
  • Individualized food service for jurors and lawyers
  • Enhanced audio to compensate for PPE
  • Cooperation with facility personnel to ensure regular sanitation of occupied areas
  • Optional live stream for remote viewing
  • Finally, First Jury is debuting a virtual focus group option soon. Please contact us for more information on this exciting opportunity.

Note: Please keep in mind that governmental COVID-19 guidelines and the vaccination status of individuals involved impact how we conduct the mock trial.  This protocol list will evolve in response to recommendations from the CDC and local health officials.
